Where do you shoot?
This is the studio I rent from another photographer and where all the magic happens. The studio is located in Downtown Martinez, California. Just outside of San Francisco and San Jose, pretty central to the greater Bay Area. I live in Arizona! For those that don’t know we moved back to AZ in summer 2024. I’m more then happy to book travel sessions. Instead of charging a travel rate, I hope to book at least 2 full sessions on visits back. So if you have a deadline in mind please get in touch and we will work together to figure out the best time frame for your shoot!
What do I wear?
For boudoir I have a client closet of 150+ pieces that is constantly growing. On the day of your shoot I will pull ones that are I think are your size and have them on a rack for you ready to look through once hair and make up is done.I always recommend bringing a few of your own pieces as well since you know you love them and the way they fit. I am happy to assist in styling as well. Plus, if you’re sharing your images with a special someone they may want to see one of the outfits up close and personal! ;)
Do I have to share my photos?
No matter what the session is, I only post your photos with your permission! No one is ever obligated to share their images, your privacy is my number one concern!
How long do sessions take?
For boudoir plan on spending at least 4 hours from start to finish. Sessions usually start around 9am. Hair and make up takes about 1.5 hours. We’ll spend time going over outfits and then we’ll shoot for about an hour and a half to 2 hours.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner you book the better so you have more time to plan for your session. For boudoir you will want enough time for us to order your products, so I recommend at least 4-6 weeks before you need your images. From the time your session takes place to you having products in your hand is about 2 weeks. But you should give your self time just in case there are delays with the lab or something comes damaged and needs reprinting. Always best to give your self a buffer. But if you only have couple of weeks let me know and we will make it happen!
Do I need to know how to pose?
For boudoir I literally will pose you from head to toe, I will even tell you how to breathe. You do not need to know what you’re doing, or what pose will look best, I will guide you through the entire session. This is why you’re hiring me.
What’s included?
There is non refundable retainer of $395 which includes 1.5 to 2 hours of shooting, access to my client closet, complimentary hair and make up and a reveal appointment where we will go through all of the stunning images we created of you!
